Duda-MDD-Kirk and sign Cody Ross and re-sign Hairston
Oh, no, I wasn't lining them up left to right. I would also go with Duda in left, MDD in center, and Kirk in right.
I also have this theory that Ike would make a good OFer. IIRC, he played right some, and pitched in college. Could be a good offseason switch of positions between Ike and Duda.

No way do you go with Kirk over MDD in CF.
Personally I would go-

Is Valdespin definitely 'bad' at fielding @ 2B? If he's serviceable there, and can OPS around 800, he's all of a sudden a top 10 2nd baseman in the league.
Well yes, he would be. Trouble is, Valdespin has given no indication that he could OPS .800 over a full season - that would be the mother of all breakouts.

While it's unlikely to ever happen, this actually makes a bit of sense. If Ike could play a corner outfield spot at least competently, you could make a case that the defense would improve by switching them. I mean, I know Ike would be slow out there, but it's hard to imagine that he could have less range than Duda.

2011 was the only season he OPS'd over 800 and it was 801 split between Binghamton and Buffalo.
Right, so he has the ability to OPS 800, it wouldn't be the mother of all breakouts..
He also has the ability to steal 30+ bases...he needs to develop the maturity to not get caught...
Jordany can't be an OF starter...and he'll likely end up as a bench player....but if he can somehow put together that 800 OPS with a refined approach at stealing bases...he's a huge asset at 2B

Yes, it would be the mother of all breakouts.
Jordany's highest major league equivalency for OPS was last year, and it was below .600. For him to OPS even .700 would be an upset. .800 would be phenomenal. Stranger things have happened, but betting on long shots isn't exactly a sound strategy.
