The month of June was rough for Lee who went 0-3 in 5 starts pitching 32.1 innings and an ERA 6.12. He’s 0-1 against the Mets this season over 3 starts as he has allowed 9 ER over 19.0 innings of work (4.26 ERA). The Mets have the following numbers against Lee:

Send Cliff Lee to the All-Star break winless! $ per win = 21,500,000/0 = uh, I just broke statistics.

Big game to get here. Last night was fantastic. Best time I've had at a ballgame since the heady days of 2006.

Amazing crowd -- yeah it was fireworks night, but there were hardly any phils fans and the vibe just gets more and more positive. Really fun time to be a Mets fan right now.

Santana: 2.76 ERA
Niese: 3.35 ERA
Young: 2.75 ERA

I like how we basically have three guys who, of late, have been pitching well enough to be threes on a lot of staffs. I expect to win when Johan or Dickey are pitching, and I feel pretty confident with each of the other three. Not a lot of teams can say that.

Nickeas seems like a nice guy. But I think his bat doesn't translate to the majors. I'd hate to see him get demoted, but we need a but more with the stick, even as a backup catcher.

Young was kind of due for some bad luck.
