Young is fine as the 5th starter, but his struggles through the order the third time around are a reminder that he's just the 5th starter and there should be no hesitation into bumping him back a few days here and there to keep Dickey on exactly 4 days' rest.

Who would you have used? You need to save Parnell in case you tie it up or take a lead, Ramirez hasn't been very good, Rauch you probably want o save in case you tie.

Ruiz with a single and this game suddenly went from 3-2 and within reach to 6-2 and an absolute uphill climb.

I understand Rauch has been hit or miss, but how does TC justify this?

Last night Rauch pitches the 9th inning of an 11-1 game.

Tonight he uses Batista and Hefner in the 8th inning of a 3-2 game, needing a run against Cliff Lee.

Rauch, for all his troubles, is still >>>>>>>>> Batista, Hefner

Our bullpen is abysmal. We've gone from 2-0 to 9-2. What a joke.
