Gammons says "There will be a little controversy over Matt Cain. It's a typical Tony LaRussa decision."

JOKE.

How can you sit here and say Matt Cain doesn't deserve to start the All-Star Game?

Dickey deserves it over Cain.

Debate that point.

It's not a battle worth fighting for. There are much, much bigger grievances with this all star team.

Ruiz should be the starting Catcher, not Posey.

Wright should be starting at 3rd, not Sandoval.

LaRussa should've realized the Giants fans cost two worthy players the starts they deserved, and he could've righted it somewhat by giving Dickey the start.

LOL LaRussa is using Carlos Gonzalez as the DH.

And PED cheat Braun gets to hit 3rd.

Can't wait for Wright to get zero AB's.

Well in fairness, since it is the ASG, he could have the 2nd catcher go down and warm up Dickey then bring them in together. Same effect.

In fairness, Pablo Sandoval would give up his starting spot to David Wright.

LaRussa is a prick. And I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't use Dickey at all, and gave Wright one AB or none. I could very easily see that piece of garbage letting fat slob unworthy Sandoval get 2 AB's, then bringing in Chipper for 2 AB's..screwing Wright in the process.

Oh, I forgot that David gave up his spot to Sandoval a couple years ago when the situation was switched.

He does deserve it but Dickey deserves it more.

It's pretty clear that LaRussa is going to let Sandoval have 2 AB's (because he's the starter). Then he'll bring in Chipper Jones and give HIM 2 AB's (because he's retiring).

So, the logical decision would've been to let Wright DH.

Now, he may not even appear in the game.

Wow, let's plan it all out and get upset before anything happens. I'm sure he'll get an AB somewhere. Tony will overmanage and be out of players by the 7th inning.

That's the problem, though.

Wright is one of the MVP favorites and he'll "get an AB somewhere."

He should be getting multiple AB's. And the DH spot was open.

Can't bother getting upset until Chipper's in the game and not David. Maybe Chipper get sthe DH ABs. Who knows. I can't see getting all upset now.
