Wheeler to AAA please? Take Harvey's spot?

Wheeler to MLB to take Gee's spot ? Yeah, i said it.

Seriously though, Wheeler to AAA whether Harvey gets the call or not should be imminent.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned anywhere re: Nimmo. KeySpan Park is DEATH on lefties power numbers

Flexen pitched on into a second inning to put up one of the weirdest lines I've ever seen in his Mets debut:

1.2 IP, 6H 6R, 1BB 6K.

That means a wild pitch reached, and other than the walk, the other 12 guys were all a strikeout or a hit.

Mateo now 7IP, 1H, 0R, 1BB 8K. He's crushed the NYP league so thoroughly that it seems likely he'll be in Savannah before long.

If it weren't for the wild pitch, which allowed the batter to reach first base on the third strike, Flexen would have given up just a single and no runs in the sixth inning.

Don't look now, but Wilmer in 20 games (74 ABs) at Double-A Wilmer has a .338/.386/.514 line. 5 doubles, 1 triple, 2 homers, 7/6 BB/K. I really wish he could play the outfield.

You hit, you can play the outfield.

It's when you stop hitting that people say you can't.

Perhaps, but isn't he Molina-level slow? I mean, scouts have wondered if the guy broke his foot and had it heal wrong.
