But I'd be lying if I said I was thrilled with the 4th starter upside/#3 "ceiling" some had on him.

To put that in perspective. If we had that this year, it would be at least 2 more wins - so far. 3-4 starter is better than what weve gotten this year from Harvey, Wheeler, Gsellman or Lugo. A guy like that on this team on April 1 would have been yuge.

Kendall signed. I think Greene, Peterson and Lange are the three 1st rounders still not signed.

If my math is right, they signed 32 out of 40. That's pretty good. Last year they signed only like 22 out of 40 iirc.

Now that it's done I think the Mets had a solid draft. Combined with the Intl. signing period it becomes a very good acquisition of talent.

I definitely second this.... cant say overall these guys arent good scouts when u had 13 guys in majors from 2011 draft and 7 for 2012
