Proposed lineup:

Player (xwOBA)
AmRo SS 322
Nimmo CF 420
ACab 2B 374
YoCes LF 306
BabeGone 1B 397
Scooter RF 310
Meso C 285!
Flores 3B 351
Matz P

With some talk that Rosario has hit better in the 9th slot, his is a nod toward that to both jump start him further and also the lineup in general. I'd like to see this given a shot to jolt the offense.

You think Smith gets the start tonight? I think AGone is a lock.

Despite his tepid debut, I like that they are giving Mesoraco some run. Why not?

Interesting that they are putting Nimmo in center.

Glad Flo seems to be getting the majority of the time at 3B.

No lefties on the Phillies roster, right? Gotta like that.

Yea, why not just play the new catcher. None of them seem to do much offensively, so let's see if there's lightning in that bottle.

And agree with Flores. I'm happy to see they're giving him the playing time and not Reyes.

Reyes days are probably numbered.

Heard Mets may skip Vargas next time out. Stay tuned. Mickey to talk in a few minutes. Mets have off day Monday so they can stay on turn.

Mick confirmed. Vargas to be skipped. He will throw a simulated game on his reg day (Tues) and then get inserted back in rotation I guess next sunday.

Hasn't Mesoraco lost the last 20 games he's played in?

Would be nice to hold back until the Wed and have him available in the bullpen Tuesday.

He seems to need work.
