It gets even sadder when you read the profile's of pitchers on the list. Almost every arm is considered " a bullpen piece" because of too much time lost. And BP really doesn't like David Peterson: "If you looked up the definition of nondescript potential SP5 in a dictionary—first of all, send me a copy of that dictionary—a picture of Peterson would be right there for all to see." Any serious injury to our top 4 starters and the Mets are done.....at least as the roster is set now.

I don't think the list is bad, by any means, but it doesn't help that Kilome went down, Szapucki missed all of 2018 (and really 2017 too, with just 6 starts), and Kay has only had one season under his belt. Not to mention the fact that a lot of the top talent like Mauricio and Vientos hasn't played above Rookie ball.
