Makes the infield very interesting. Gotta assume Lowrie starts at 3B? What does that do for Frazier? McNeil??

So much to the haterz saying the Mets aren't going to spend any more $.

I just wonder if this could mean that McNeil is getting dealt. That's the only downside I see.

And I was just speculating in the other thread that they could add Marwin to play 3B if they were to find a place to offload Frazier. Lowrie is better than Marwin, so nice!

I just wonder if Lowrie has the arm for 3B.

I assume this means Frazier or McNeil is on the way out (unless they’re confident McNeil can be a semi-regular outfielder). If not, then you’re right they should’ve used this money for a reliever (assuming they don’t still spend on a reliever).

I agree. I don't understand why you sign Lowrie when you could have used that money for another top notch reliever.
