Signing Lowrie probably puts Frazier firmly on the market, but also Lagares...

I don't think either has much value, but anyone have any ideas where they might have market value?

Frazier to Chisox if they swing and miss on Machado?

How much money did Toronto eat for Tulo and Russell Martin?

A real Major League team wouldn't care where they landed.

We both know they're going to land in Flushing.

Agree they will be here, just wondered if Brodie now has to clear some dollars if he wants to shore up the pen?

I think they'll go cheap on the pen, maybe a 4 million a year guy or something like that.

And I don't see Frazier or Lagares being traded.

Do the Twins have a 3rd baseman yet? Jays?

Sano and Drury.

Teams who could be looking for a 3Bman might be the Rangers, Royals, Pads, ChiSox or O's. I think the Mets would have to add $ and/or a prospect in order to facilitate a deal fro Frazier in any of those cases.

BVW seems to have some loyalty to his former clients, so I'm not sure that banishing Frazier from a team looking to get into the elite rung to a rebuilding club is a move we should expect to see. But I have no way of knowing what the internal thought process is.

Just weird about the Lowrie signing, which I like.

Basically buries one or all three of Alonso, Davis and McNeil a bit.

If the idea is a pure salary dump, San Diego might be a destination for Frazier.

I've always been intrigued by this guy (if we the Padres are in-fact in the market for a 3b) https://www.baseball-reference.com/play ... ph01.shtml #Mets

Rangers apparently looking for a third baseman, according to Evan Grant (?).

Again, probably have to package him with a prospect, but might be worth exploring.
