Rookie maximums for at-bats (130), games pitched (30) or innings (50) in the major leagues"

If the 2 leaders are within 5% of each other, or the leader has less than 30% there will be a run-off between the top 2. If a run-off results in a tie the tiebreaker will be vote total in the previous poll, we will continue to "go back" in the polls until there is a clear leader.

So I think it’s time to nominate Kevin Kaz.

He was voted #20 in last years list.
He hit .363 in AAA prior to being promoted to MLB.

Then Calloway refused to play the guy and killed his timing/confidence...He was then removed from the 40 man and now has become the forgotten man.

Not sure how Walker Lockett is on the list at all. He is not good. Has not been at any level.

In fairness (and I'm not a fan) Jeff P had him 20-25 (admitting he also wasn't a fan of the profile) and FG had him 18th. System is thin. I think even if he's Oswalt-esque he's a top 40 prospect in the system.

Marcano is next but Kaz can follow

Longenhagen even called him rotation depth for the Tribe right after they acquired him in November, calling him their "5th/6th starter" and 'probably on their 25 man bubble in the spring'. And that's in a much deeper system than ours.

I don't know if FG is again the high rank on Lockett, but to say that he's a stretch at 39 in the Mets system is a little over the top IMO. Not sure there's much difference between Lockett and Oswalt who we had at 17 a year ago.

I think Oswalt is better than Lockett. More command. Lockett is more similar to Flexen (low-mid 90s FB, decent curve, fringe command). But, yeah, it's still a Top 25ish profile in this system.
