That can happen when you aren't able to exercise for months.
Sorry that was supposed to read Fat Yo and now FRAZIER has come to camp looking chunky. But yeah I was merely answering the question of how he looked, and he does look very heavy. Lucky for him he has what.. 5ish months to work it off?

I'm not too worried about Yo's ability to get back into playing shape. He's always been a gym rat, no? I thought, if anything, he had a habit of overdoing it in the gym, at least relative to how a baseball player should train.
I’d so follow a Fat Yo renaissance season. Clogging basebaths hitting bombs playing at 270. I thought last year was peak Yo, but man, this would trigger unknown levels of baseball joy within me. This is something I will be rooting for.

If Yo gives us a good 4-5 weeks and a nice playoff run, I'll be happy. He'll be a nice addition in August/Sept.
Guy's I'm more concerned about, cause I think they'll make or break our season are Thor, Matz, Wheeler. Without an top pitching staff I don't like our chances.

Mets rotation rivals any other in the game, so I'm not sure this is a place for legit concern. Any team that suffers an injury to an ace or key SPer will suffer. No one is replacing that easily.

Matz should buy DeGrom/Thor/Wheeler some rolex's. The amount of times he's lumped in with them as if he's on their level (especially the first 2) is comical. Matz has been worse than Niese and closer to Dillon Gee than the Mets big 2 but without fail he's mentioned with them.
