LGM!!!! Should be interesting to see how Thor does tonight with Ramos catching as you point out. Also will be interesting to see how Asdrubal does for the Nats...

Hmmm... not sure why you'd fool with the formula that's been working. They just signed Panik to play 2B, no? Why move McNeil back to the IF then, esp at 2B where he isn't that good..? The difference between Panik and Lagares facing a LHer is insignificant.

I disagree with Callaway....why not Nido, noah has seemingly been fixed and immediately has given up 4 hits and 2 hrs in the first inning with Ramos...wowwww nice move Callaway...

Can’t believe that went out. On another note, and this is antecdotal, I feel like Syndergaard doesn’t do well against the Nats recently.

Syndergaard throwing a lot of pitches. Soto flicks one over the CF fence. Now a couple more base hits.

Yeah it’s interesting to know if this truly has an impact or if it’s just coincidence. Ramos has played well recently but don’t see the harm in him getting a day off when Noah pitches.

Lagares has a 34 wRC+ vs LH pitching this year.... if we got Panik to play 2nd, lets play him. Lagares is a terrible baseball player.

Brodie has to take away the ability for Callaway to play these terrible players, -1.4 WAR for Lagares holy crap. what an embarrsment this awful player is still on this roster and its august, give Alcantara a chance. Lagares is below average on defense even -5 DRS and negative UZR, altherr is better than him at this point on defense.

The defensive difference between Nido and Ramos seems to be real.

But the Mets are going to need Ramos's bat, so they're going to have to learn to win with him behind the plate (and they have been lately).

You cant have a manager actively hurt your team and go up against a winning team and an ace vs Corbin and expect to win the game. The Lagares start and Ramos vs Nido start just immediately puts the team behind the 8 ball....
