Chris Young, Curtis Granderson Eric Young, Jr. and Travis d’Arnaud all hit long balls as the Mets rallied twice to take game one of the subway series 9-7. Bartolo Colon spotted the Yankees seven runs, but the Mets kept coming back with 2 runs in the 6th, 2 more in the seventh, and then 3 in the 8th capped by CY’s bomb.

The Mets also bumped Jenrry Mejia from the rotation and called up Rafael Montero who’s been pitching solidly at AAA Las Vegas to take Mejia’s place in the rotation. Mejia moved to the bullpen and pitched 1.1 innings of shutout ball in tonight’s game.
