The Mets trimmed their spring roster today by releasing veteran 2B Luis Castillo, and cutting 8 others from Major League camp, including Dillon Gee, Taylor Tankersley, and Ryota Igarashi. IN addition, the Mets reassigned minor league catchers Dusty Ryan and Raul Chavez, OFer Jason Pridie, IF Russ Adams and pitcher Boof Bonzer.
