Wilmer Flores had 2 HRs in his return to SS, as part of a 4 hit night in the Vegas 51s loss to Tacoma. Andrew Brown and Matt den Dekker continued their hot hitting with 2 hits a piece.

The 51s got 7IP of 1 run ball from Logan Verrett, but newly acquired reliever Zach Thornton gave up three runs and was charged with the blown save and the loss. BOX

Binghamton faired better topping the Portland Sea Dogs 5-1 behind another quality outing from Greg Peavey who went 6 innings allowing just one run, and two hits each from Kyle Johnson and Kevin Plawecki. BOX

Gavin Cecchini had tyhree hits including a 3B and a BB, Patrick Biondi had two hits, and Miller Diaz went 6+ striking out 6 and allowing only an unearned run as the Gnats beat the Rome Braves 2-1. BOX

St. Lucie was rained out in Bradenton.
