The 10:30AM education day start is always an event that seperates the men from the boys in Hi-A, or at least the night owls from the early birds. Looks like Dilson Herrera is the latter, dominating the day game with 3 hits, and ending the day only a triple shy of hitting for the cycle in the Mets 5-2 win.

both teams played a little sleepy in the early going, but Dilson Herrera took over for the Mets. The second baseman went 3 for 4 and was a triple shy of the cycle.

Herrera broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth with a ground rule double over the wall in left field that plated Eudy Pina and put the Mets up 2-1.

Brandon Nimmo followed with an RBI single and Jairo Perez forced home a run on a double play to make it 4-1 in the fifth.

Herrera launched his third home run of the season, a solo shot, in the seventh to put the Mets ahead by the final margin of 5-2.
