While the big league club was watching the bullpen grab defeat from the jaws of victory, the minor leaguers were providing hope that things will eventually get better. Matt den Dekker and Noah Syndergaard were styling in Vegas before their game got suspended, and Mets minor league pitchers posted zeros up and down the ladder.

Las Vegas 5 Tacoma 5

Matt den Dekker has 3 hits and Noah Syndergaard 10Ks in last night’s suspended Vegas 51s game. Games was suspended in the 8th inning due to wind and is slated to be completed Sunday. BOX

Binghamton 5 Harrisburg 2

Dustin Lawley hit a 3 run HR and Rainy Lara had 7 Ks in 6.2 IP allowing 4 H, 1 BB, and 2 ER to power the B-Mets to a 5-2 win over the Senators. BOX

St. Lucie 2 Palm Beach 0

Dilson Herrera and Brandon Nimmo each reached base twice Herrera driving in a run and Nimmo stealing a base, and Phillip Evans had 2 hits and an RBI, behind 6+ shutout innings allowing just 3 hits from Matthew Koch to give St. Lucie the win. BOX

Savannah 1 Charleston 0

John Gant tossed 6 3 hit shutout innings, and LJ Mazzilli had two hits, around 6 Gnats BBs, one of which led to Gavin Cecchini scoring the games only run and giving the Gnats the one run win. BOX
