Alex Ochoa (born March 29, 1972 in Miami Lakes, Florida) was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 3rd round (81st overall) of the June 1991 draft. Ochoa was traded to the Mets, along with Damon Buford, on July 28, 1995 for Jimmy Williams and Bobby Bonilla. He spent three season with the Mets and was basically a fourth outfielder for the team. On December 12, 1997, he was traded to the Twins for Rich Becker. He signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox and was invited to Spring Training for the 2007 season.
