The Mets signed Feliciano to a minor league contract prior to the 2007 season. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 36th round of the 1997 amateur draft. He has since played in the Tampa Bay and Washington organizations, mainly playing at the Double-A level. Feliciano is a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He was named to Puerto Rico‘s 40-man preliminary roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
