Raul Reyes made his professional debut in the DSL Mets in 2005, hitting .263 in 71 games, with 33 runs, 12 doubles, three triples, four home runs, and 30 RBI, while adding six stolen bases. He played for the Kingsport Mets in 2006 and then moved on to the Brooklyn Cyclones in 2007. He missed the majority of the 2008 season with a right ankle fracture. He is a native of Santa Domingo, D.R.
