The Mets selected ZeErika with their 29th round pick (884th overall) in the 2009 amateur draft. He was drafted out of East Central CC in Mississippi and signed quickly. He was assigned to the GCL Mets to begin his pro career. He changed his last name from Hall to McQueen after the 2009 season. McQueen is a native of Carthage, Mississippi. McQueen retired on July 6, 2012.
