Familiar Faces to Join Teufel in B-Mets Dugout (read 110 times)
February 2, 2010 - Tim Teufel will be flanked by a pair of returning B-Mets coaches for the 2010 season. Mark Brewer, a member of the B-Mets coaching staff in 2006, will assume the role of pitching coach and Luis Natera will return for his third season as hitting coach.

September 3, 2009 - Eric Niesen hurled a season-high 7.1 innings to notch his second straight win and Kirk Nieuwenhuis finished a triple short of the cycle in the B-Mets 6-1 win over Bowie Wednesday night.
August 31, 2009 - Ike Davis drove in three of Binghamton’s five runs Sunday afternoon and Eric Brown tossed six, strong innings for the win in the B-Mets 5-3 triumph. Playing in right field for the second straight day, Davis rapped three hits and finished a triple short of the cycle, including his team-leading 12th homer of the season.

August 28, 2009 - Shawn Bowman smacked his ninth homer of the season, a three-run shot, in the eight to tie the score at seven apiece, but Portland pushed across a run in the ninth to edge by the B-Mets 8-7 Thursday night.
August 27, 2009 - Ike Davis’ two-run shot in the seventh inning erased a two-run deficit and provided the difference in the B-Mets’ 3-2 win over Portland Wednesday night at NYSEG Stadium. The win broke a four-game losing streak for the B-Mets.

August 27, 2009 - The youngest member of the Sand Gnats squad delivered the game-winning hit Wednesday night in the bottom of the 11th inning as Wilmer Flores drove in Josh Satin to put Savannah in the win column by a score of, 4-3.
August 24, 2009 - A late surge by the Rome Braves was not enough in Sunday afternoon’s contest as the Sand Gnats hung on for a, 5-4, win over the Braves.

August 6, 2009 - The 16 strikeouts recorded by Niesen, Jose De La Torre and Connor Robertson bested the 14 punch outs that Binghamton’s staff tallied against Portland April 16.
August 4, 2009 - Sean Ratliff has once again been named the South Atlantic League Player of the Week. The 22-year-old outfielder hit .364 (8-for-22) with three doubles, five home runs and 11 RBI from July 27-August 2.
