John Maine threw four exciting innings of no hit ball, giving up one walk and striking out three. Billy Wagner gave up the first hit of the game in the fifth inning and Aaron Heilman allowed a hit in the sixth. Carlos Rincon pitched a hitless inning striking out one in the eighth and Carlos Muniz gave up a hit and a walk.
Jose Reyes hit his first home run of the spring and David Wright hit a triple in the first inning. Anderson Hernandez executed a squeeze play resulting in a run scored in the second and Damion Easley had a sac fly in the sixth knocking in another. Argenis Reyes, Chris Aguila, Jesus Feliciano and Dan Murphy all got a hit a piece, plating Dan Murphy with the Mets final run.
