Jason Bay to the Mets

The Mets will officially announce the Jason Bay acquisition on Tuesday at 11am. The news conference will be live on MLB.com.
The 31-year-old outfielder's deal is reportedly a four-year, $66 million contract, which includes a fifth-year vesting option.
Acquiring Bay fills the hole in left field and gives them a milldle of the order power bat.
A former National League Rookie of the Year and three-time All-Star, Bay won his first Silver Slugger Award with the Red Sox this past season, when he hit .267 while notching a career-high 36 homers and 119 RBIs.
