Moviel and Rustich go to Mets in 2nd Round

In the 2nd Round the Mets took High school pitcher Scott Moviel and college relief pitcher Brant Rustich. Scott Moviel is a big righthanded pitcher, standing 6'10" tall, out of Saint Edward HS in Ohio. Obviously with his size he used to play basketball but is signed to play baseball at NC State next season. Feelings were if he went early enough he would sign though with a major league club. He throws a solid fastball at 88-91mph right now with an improved curveball and a changeup that he hasn't used much yet. With a pitcher this big mechanics are always an issue as is the same with Moviel. Rustich, is a 6'6" closer from UCLA. The righthander is coming off a red-shirt year in 2006. He is said to have impressive stuff but poor command right now. He did show signs of some injury worries this year as well with a finger injury that bothered him. He throws a fastball, splitter and slider.
